My surf lessons in San Sebastian were absolutely fantastic. The Pukas folks were so kind and friendly, I was almost in tears upon leaving the city. While I initially bought 10 hours, I purchased additional hours. It was so great to spend the first part of my day there. Also, surfing totally rocks. I am looking forward to returning next summer!!!!! And Gorka was a great instructor!

The lesson was great. The guys were professional and very helpful. I would definitely recommend

San Sebastian was perfect place to start learning surf without feeling scared of big waves. The team from Pukas was very kind and professional giving us the feeling to be in good hands if I may say. Our teacher called Ioseba and there was a very nice lady (I don't know her name) in the shop who welcomed us and helped us.

Had an amazing trip thanks and was lovely weather despite what the forecast predicted! We really enjoyed the surfing lessons, the instructors were eager to get us involved and helped us to progress. We all fell in love with the area. The beaches were beautiful, preferred the surfing one as it wasn’t as crowded for sunbathing. The food was delicious, we were recommended some great little places to get pintos by Michel.

We actually loved the surf lessons, it was a shame we could only get it at 2pm on the first day as the tide wasn't right.  But the instructor was amazing, very patient and we learned a lot. Pukas is a great schoo

I really enjoyed my stay in San Sebastián. The surf lessons were fantastic- there's nothing I could ever complain about. Great surf school and awesome teacher! 

We really enjoyed lessons both with borja and brad, expecially brad looked very experienced (probably cause he is a native speaker). We were both very happy about this experience.

Surfing lessons in San Sebastian went excellent! We want to acknowledge our instructor Aitor (don't know his last name) who made lessons effective, fun and safe. He seemed very experienced and knew how to explain techniques in easy way. I've seen a lot of sport instructors and few of them were as patient and calm as Aitor :) We've made significant progress and enjoyed lessons thanks to him. The store/school had all necessary things and equipment, staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely continue surfing next summer!

Yeah it was fantastic! We really enjoyed it. Our instructor Mikel Martija was great, we loved him.

We had a great time with the surfing, thanks for asking. Weather was pretty harsh, but the spirits were high and the instructors did a great job. So all thumbs up from us!

The lessons were awesome I am pleased to report and I was very impressed with the general set up. A great experience and a very reasonable price.

Everything was great. Our instructor was super nice and it was great to have him come out in the water with us and give us each personal attention. The focus on safety was also appreciated.

San Sebadtian was greate. Surf lesson was real fun. We had never tried it beforeand all of us where riding waves befor end of session.... truly a memorable experience and a highlight from this years vacation. Will definetly do it again. Pukas was all brilliant and our instructor friendly and good fun. Reccomended!!!!

Yep it was great. Waves were small for 3 days, ok for fourth. The instructor was very good so top marks there :-) Great spot, San Sebastián!

I enjoyed my surfin lesson in SanSebastian, of course. I took lessons 4times, with same instructor. He is very friendly, and we didn't have any problem for our communication. Total good, I think.

The lessons were good. He loved the 1st lesson, it was very intensive as it was a private lesson he got the chance to try 100 times and fall 120 times..But for the following days in the shop they convinced him/us to join a group..And honestly it wasn't such a good idea..I mean there was nothing wrong with the group or with the lesson, and he would definitely join such a group again, but only if he would be in San Sebastian for a longer period of time than this time. This time we were going just for 5 days so a 1 on 1 lesson would have been a better option to learn the maximum, cause in a group you every time have to wait till everybody takes a wave..and obviously you learn slowlier. But again, great experience, he's definitely planning to continue with the lessons next time we're coming over..So I scored with my birthday present :).

The surf shop were excellent, friendly and welcoming. The instructors were great and patient with a group of hungover blokes! All in all - a great experience.

The surfing was awwwwwesome!!! We loved it from start to finish - most of us had never done it before & it was amazing! The instructors were both brill (a tall guy who was really funny & young gal who was lovely). It has made me want to take up surfing/have a week's lesson - I could of stayed in the water for hours longer! (Only small feedback would be we were slightly rushed out of there at the end/lights out etc...12 girls are obviously going to take a while to get out of wetsuits haha so that was not ideal, and also the lesson was pretty short...again, perhaps the changing time should not be included in the actual lesson time we paid for)

We had a wonderful week in San Sebastian. It was absolutely what we needed and we're now hooked on surfing. Pukas where brillant and our surf instructor Josefa excellent. Really professional, friendly and a laugh. He really encouraged us and we both stood up on the first day!

San Sebastian was great. We love it there. Our surf experience was really good. Angel is a great guy and really helped us out and made it comfortable for us. Overall a good time!

I found the instructor quite good - he had a good knowledge of different techniques, for example, when it was clear some of the group weren't managing to master the popup technique, he showed them an easier knees-first technique. (He actually demonstrated about 5 ways of standing on the board, which was interesting to see)

We had a great time. It was definetly tougher than we thought it would be but really had a blast. Instructor did great. Look forward to surfing more now. Hope to make it down there again

The surf lessons were really really cool! Our instructor was very friendly and competent, the equipement was nice too and San Sebastian is a nice town!

Surf lesson was great. I can't remember the name of the instructor, the lesson consisted of 30 minutes instruction and training out of the water, and then an hour surfing, and correction. I'd go back to them again!
