Otherwise known as Southern California, it is all about exploring the beaches off of ‘the one', aka route 1, the highway that spans the length of California following the Pacific coastline. Go roadtrip.
- Ericeira
Trying to ride every wave around the beautiful surf town of Ericeira would take a long time. The Portuguese town is host to every kind of surf break, perfect for beginners to pros, and even has amazing restaurants and bars for refueling after your session.
- North Shore
If ever there was a surfing mecca it is the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The birth place of surfing, no surfer should go without visiting the hallowed Polynesian shores during the winter season and witnessing Banzai Pipeline going off.
- Tahiti
Continuing the Polynesian theme, Tahiti is home to the mother wave of Teahupoo, the beasty lefthander that breaks mere feet over live coral reef. Stunningly beautiful and full of culture, the island holds a wealth of reef and sand breaks to try out.
